There are so many ideas ... just give me a call if you don't know where a particular store is ... or go to

All the stores at Charleston Place will be open until 7 p.m. next Thursday, February 9 (they even have coupons worth 20% off any purchase over $25 on that day) ... they'll also have Live Music, Wine Tasting & Pairing by Traveling Vineyard, skin care, jewelery, makeup & more. Oh, and Jody at the Candy Shack & Cafe' now has a new Vegetarian & Vegan sandwich and salad. Be sure to stop in!

I mentioned the Palace and they will be presenting Natalie Stovel this Saturday, February 4, 8 p.m. She’s performed everywhere from Oprah to the Grand Ole Opry and now brings her fiddle and big vocal sound to the Palace. You can get a taste of Natalie's music at

Movie: Held over for Friday and Sunday is the movie Alvin and the Chipmonks, Chipwrecked. Cost is $4 for adults; $3 for seniors over 62; and $2 for children 12 & younger. This movie is rated PG and show times are: Friday, 7:30 p.m. & Sunday, 2 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.

And while you're there, don't forget Spencer's Theatre of Illusion on February 11 and the winter musical, "Meet Me In St. Louis" February 16 - 19. There's so much going on at Marion's historic Palace Theatre, I encourage you to go to and check it all out for yourself!

Why? Because Downtown Marion matters.
